Ordering Process:
What to expect when ordering your future doors from Payless Windows
and Door?
1. To order your doors, simply place a door unit into your shopping
cart and follow the checkout process.
2. Within one business day, a representative will call you
to finalize your order.
The sales representative will then fax
or email you a written quote/sales order and a customer
acknowledgement form.
3. Please review the faxed or emailed forms and make sure that
everything is accurate. Once you are satisfied, please sign and fax
the forms back to us. Payment in full is due before we can process
your order.
4. We will mail, fax, or email you an invoice once payment is
received showing your proof of payment and then your order will be
processed.
5. We will call you once the doors are shipped. At that
point we will provide you with a tracking number for your
convenience.
Prehanging
All of our doors are prehung on solid wood jambs of the same
species as your door. They are a full 3/4" thick and come kerfed for
Q-lon weatherstripping (also included). Our prehanging also comes
with solid wood casing and brickmold. For our unfinished doors, we
provide the casing and eastern brickmold profiles.
Our casing measures 5/8" x 2 1/4" and our brickmold measures 1
1/4" x 2". If you would like other profiles, please contact one of
our sales representatives.
Note: Some of our prefinished doors may
ship with wider brickmold or casing, of similar style.
We also feature 4" heavy-duty ball bearing hinges in all of our
prehung door units. In addition, your choice of an aluminum or oak
threshold comes standard with your prehung order.
We also
include standard tubular lock and deadbolt boring for your door. Our
master carpenters make sure that your prehung unit is square and ready
to be installed and finished.
Payment Terms:
All orders must be prepaid by cashier's check, money order, wire
transfer, personal check, Visa or Mastercard.
Shipping Policy:
All doors are shipped via common carrier, based on the weight
of the crated door and distance from Reseda, CA (We do provide
local delivery service to the Los Angeles area). We will quote you a
flat rate to your zip code, including insurance. Payless Windows and
Doors is not responsible for any extra fees, including, but not limited
to, lift-gate charges, residential delivery fees, etc. Your order will
be shipped freight prepaid.
We ship your doors via Fed-Ex Freight or Daylight Transport, both
reputable companies for your peace of mind. Great care and expense is
taken to package your investment so that it arrives safely and ready
for installation.
There must be someone at the jobsite to inspect and receive
the delivery.
All products must be inspected thoroughly upon delivery
and any shortage or damage must be reported on the delivery receipt
and to Payless Windows and Doors.
Damages not noted on the delivery
receipt will be the customer's responsibility. The customer is also
responsible for filing freight damage claims.
Seller is not responsible for delays in shipment due to fire,
accidents, shipment problems, manufacturer's delays, labor problems,
or any other causes beyond its control.
We do have “will call” available from our store here in Reseda. Please let us know if you prefer that option.
Warranties:
All materials are warranted under the manufacturer's warranty
only.
Manufacturer warranties cover replacement of unfinished doors
only. It does not cover the cost of fitting, refinishing,
installation, or shipping of replacement doors. A copy of the
manufacturer’s warranty is included with your doors once shipped. You
can request a copy to be faxed or mailed to you at the time the order
is being finalized.
Return and Exchange Policy:
All sales are final. Payless Windows and Doors takes great care in
monitoring products prior to shipping and will provide customer
assistance in the event of carrier problems. It is the customer’s
responsibility to note any damages upon receipts of the goods on the
delivery receipt. For any inquiries regarding damaged or defective
products please refer to the manufacturer warranty or contact us at
customerservice@paylesswd.com
Sales Tax:
Payless Windows and Doors, collects applicable sales tax for any
doors shipped within the state of California.
Services:
We carry custom sized and 8' tall doors.
We have a wide variety of
manufacturers such as Caoba, T.M. Cobb, Art Glass etc., and many more.
We can also
custom-make any design you require.
We also prefinish our doors in any Minwax or ZAR stain, However, we
do not ship pre-finished doors outside of the Los Angeles area.
